Accessibility at Code Camp

Wheelchair accessibility is good, but not perfect – three of our four locations (the Café and L3 Boardroom at Trade Me, and Xero’s Melbourne meeting room) are fully wheelchair accessible (flat or gently sloping floors, elevator access).

The exception is our smallest meeting space (The Xero Bullnose) which has a couple of small steps which are likely to be a problem. Someone in a regular wheelchair could get there with a little assistance from fellow delegates; someone in an electric wheelchair would likely not.

Given the distance between our meeting rooms, we’re allowing a generous 10 minute transition between sessions to allow people to get where they need to go.

On the day, volunteers from Trade Me and Xero will be on hand to ensure nobody gets lost.
